I've used the Proactive toner in the past, but stopped after a while since I didnt notice any difference in my skin besides it being a little more dried out than before. I bought this Mary Kay Formula 3 toner about a week ago and have been using it for the past few days and already notice a great difference in my skin! I have extremely sensitive, combination type skin that breaks out with acne very easily. I decided to give this toner a try (after a beauty consultant recommendation to use a toner in my daily skin care regimen) and am so happy that I did. I wash my face every night before bed and assumed that it was clean, but after using this toner and seeing what was still left over on my cotton pads after washing my face, I was kind of disgusted. It gets off all the small dirt and makeup particals that I left behind after washing my face. The #3 MK Blemish Control Toner is one of the better astringent products on the market - and reasonably priced! It contains 2% salicylic acid that penetrates the external layer of the skin and reduces the appearance of pores. Another added bonus is it gradually fades blemish hyper pigmentation scars and other discolorations or unevenness. After about 2 weeks of consistent use you will see your skin's appearance begin to improve. I have been a faithful MK user (off and on) for the last 15 years. The reason I always return to MK is the quality of the products, and buying them through Amazon at a discounted rate is nice! Since I have been using this product my face has been problem free. I've been using it for almost 2 months now and for me that is un heard of. When I noticed that I was getting a large bump I made sure I applied it to my face and even held it there for about a minute just to make sure it wouldn't get any bigger. It burned for about a minute or so afterwards but when I woke up a few hours later the bump had actually shrank and was gone within 24 hours. I have never had a product that worked so well. I love this product and its a must have for even adults with the occasional acne. This review is from: PCA pHaze 13 Pigment Gel-1 oz (Health and Beauty) I have fair skin, freckles and red hair. I have this one really big freckle on my nose and have been bothered by it for years. I was going to get laser and then saw the reviews for this. I put it on twice a day on the spot and it basically kills that skin. I was impatient and peeled off the dead layer early and the spot was raw and I feared it would scar. It did not scar though (I put neosporin on it everyday). The freckle became so much lighter I was so amazed! I then repeated a second time a few weeks later to lighten it even more and this time I was more patient. The skin just came off like dry skin a week later and my freckle is even lighter. I no longer have to put concealer on this spot to hide it. This product is truly a miracle (or just a lot of bad chemicals, but I don't care it worked!). I tried it on my whole face for a few days but then stopped. I think it is better for spot treatment, because it is basically acid and you should be careful when doing it to your whole face.
