First of all, I like the smell of Obagi Pore Therapy. Most salicylic acid-acne treatments smell unpleasant like yeast or sperm. This one smells good. I have a mild case of adult acne (which set in after stopping the pill) and I use this treatment at a max once before bed. It would dry out my skin too much if I would use it more often. There are some nights when I skip Obagi PT and it still works well for me. I already had less outbreaks after using Obagi for only one week. However, this is by no means the perfect product as it leaves a fine whitish film on your skin that makes your skin shine and you look like plastic. I never use Obagi PT in the morning because I do not want to "wear it" outside, but like I said, it works fine for me to use it only during the night. Another criticism: I hope the next Obagi PT bottle that I buy will not leak while transporting it in my cosmetic bag, but that might just be this individual bottle.

I love, love, love this product. I have combination skin and hormonal acne. I have been using this product since Thanksgiving 2011 and I have had less breakouts and my skin tone and texture have improved dramatically. I am so glad I took a chance on this product after failing to find something that could handle my skin type. I highly recommend this to anyone who is getting sick and tired of paying tons of money for products that do not do what they advertise. I also use the foaming face wash with this(#1) and love it also. My face did get a little dry when I first started using them so I used the pore therapy every other day at night time. I have just ordered the moisturizer and cant wait to use it. I am 40 years old and I am so glad I have finally found something after 20 years that actually works!

I HAVE SENSITIVE SKIN AND OILY SKIN SO I ONLY PUT A DAB ON A COTTON BALL AND USE IT ALL OVER MY FACE JUST ONCE A DAY. AND THE BEST PART ABOUT THIS IS THAT IF U HAVE DARK SPOTS FROM ACNE , U CAN PUT THIS STUFF ON MORE THEN ONCE. LIKE U KEEP DABBING IT ON YOUR PROBLEM AREAS UNTIL IT GETS A LITTLE PURPLE COLOR LET IT SIT FOR LIKE 5 MIN THEN RINSE IT WITH WARM WATER. IT'S LIKE YOUR OWN CHEMICAL PEEL AT HOME. IT WORKED SO WELL FOR ME. BUT I RECOMMEND U TEST IT OUT FIRST ON ONE AREA TO SEE HOW UR SKIN IS. SO USE LIKE A Q TIP FIRST. I used to get chemical peels done but they used a stronger chemical the glycolic acid I think like 20 percent. But it was still strong. So I decided to try it at home with this stuff since its only 2% . Now my skin tone is more even then it was when I was paying 200 bucks at the spa. So now I have better skin and I'm saving money lol.

This one was OK, nothing special for me. I have combination skin, with a very oily T zone area. This stuff smells horrible. My husband hated the way it smelled. I won't order it again. I really wanted to like this product too, because of it being all natural and all. I now just use Witch Hazel as my astringent and it works GREAT. It only costs around $1.50 too.
I have also tried coffee eye cream of 100% pure, loved it.

I am an African-American male, and over time since I have been shaving I have developed some dark areas on my face and head. They dark areas started out real subtle but over the years of continuous shaving I could tell they were getting worse. I tried several tone repair products but none of them seem to work effectively. I decided to give this product a try and within 2 weeks I could see a noticeable difference. I use the product in the morning and at night. It's very inexpensive compared to other tone repairs and I do not have use a lot to cover my head and face. The only caution I would give is that I would not use this product with depilatories (e.g. Magic Shave, or other razor-less chemicals). The chemicals in those products mixed with this product could cause a reverse reaction on your skin.

I actually use this product for dark spots from acne scars and other discoloration of my skin and I've already seen a difference just after 5 days! It's been so hard to find a product that really does what it says that it's going to do when it comes to skin discoloration. I like that it doesn't dry my skin out and it also seems to act as a moisturizer on my problem areas. I understand that this product was marketed for male use but I've gotten the results I was looking for, and will continue to use this product.

I have been using this product off and on for a long time and it works as advertised. Also for me, this little jar lasts a good while and I will explain later. First of all, I started using this because I was look for a tone control product. The skin on my face darkened over time, I guess from shaving. When I first saw this product it was at a local Wal-Mart, so i bought it, tried it, and was impressed quickly. Quickly. The reason why this little jar last is because I on need to use it sparingly. I put a dab of it on one finger and spread it mostly under my neck, and also on my cheeks -where I shave. Then I take another small dab and spread it on my forehead to correct the somewhat dark spot below my hairline. That's it. 2 dabs is all you need. Do not use this by the palm full and spread it everywhere like face lotion because it's not lotion, and you will run out of it quickly. My review today is because I was looking for it.
